Fulgurite tends to have an irregular shape, making measurements of dimensions somewhat arbitrary.
Instead, I have photographed them on a background with about a 3/4" square grid. Yellow label is 1.5 x 2" wide.
Horizontally, four pink blocks is about 3". For close-up detail of grain, see Series D photos.
Orange is lichen on the outside. Please ask if you need more information on any item.

ID # Special Characteristics	Each photo shows a different side or end of specimen.
Fulgurite D-1 $21 This interesting sample has three major branch ends with bubbles plus an area of exposed black and green glass on an outer surface. This is probably from an entirely different branch of the fulgurite passing across this surface. About 2" x 1"
Fulgurite D-3 $12 A nice branch fork where the branch split from one into four smaller sections, one with a portion of the branch included. Also has a nice blocky chunk of rock on the exterior surface. Good bubbles and black glass. About 1.5" x 1"
Fulgurite D-4 $12 A simple cylinder with a large weathered bubble at one open end, and crisp clean glass and bubbles at the other end. It also has an exposed area where a branch has broken away, interior glasses are clearly visible here (shown), and several tiny branch nubs. About 1.5" x 1"
Fulgurite D-5 $9 This neat branch termination is shaped like the cap of a mushroom. The under surface is where it attached to the parent fulgurite, and glasses and bubbles are visible there. There is a small amount of lichen on the outside. About 1.25" x 1.25"
Fulgurite D-6 $8 This weathered cylinder has a large cavity at one end, good bubbles at the other end, and several minor branch stubs. Though the photo doesn't show it well, the somewhat contorted shape of this sample makes it visually interesting and it would be good as a hand-around sample. About 1.5" x 1"
Fulgurite D-7 $24 A beautifully clean sample with bright exterior and well developed bubbles and shiny black glass at the two main ends. It also has two easy-to-see branch nubs and a couple larger stones embedded in the outside. Great for display under a dissecting scope. About 1.5" x 1"
Fulgurite D-8 $32 An exceptional sample in the "D" size! Glossy black glass is exposed in several places at the main ends and branch nubs. The outside has a number of large stones fused to it along with clear charring. About 1.5" x 0.75"
Fulgurite D-11 $14 This sample is a branch fork, though the photo doesn't show it well. One branch stub is broken at the fork (shown). There is a huge exposed black bubble there, a monster for this size class. There are two smaller branch nubs with bubbles, as well as black glass on the other end (weathered). About 2" x 1"
