UNDERSTANDING THE 2NEAT SITE :
Are all the items on the website currently available? Yes, all items listed should be available - we update our site multiple times a day. Items with a button are NOT available unless the customer cancels the order. On rare occasions, two persons will order the same item at the same time. Should that happen, we will contact the second person with an apology.
I cannot find what I need, what should I do? Try the search feature on our search hints page or ask us. It is an excellent idea to use the search feature every time you visit. For example, a search on "Colorado" will identify every page on the site that has Colorado-related material - some of it may occur in surprising places.
is the publication condition described? We use the system
made popular on eBay and Half.com, with a more thorough description
than that given by most rare book dealers. In general, you will
find a condition statement at the top of each page for the materials
on that page, as well as individual conditions notes with any
item that deviates from the norm for the page. Detailed definitions

How safe is it to order from 2Neat Books? 2Neat Books and Magazines is proud to be a registered Colorado Business, as well as a licensed MasterCard, Visa, and American Express merchant, and a Paypal premier member.
Online credit card payments are routed through a secure server operated by the respected Trust Commerce Company. The order system includes a nice choice of shipping speeds and additional options to pay by Paypal, check or money order. We welcome international customers! Ask if you have questions.

Is it neccessary to use the order form to place an order? Yes, we appreciate your use the order form because it generally provides us with more complete information. If the order form is not working, it is OK to give us the same information in an email. Please remember that we will need full shipping address and choice of shipping.
What are my choices for payment? You will have the choice to pay by credit card (AMEX, Mastercard, or Visa), Paypal, check or money order. All payments should be in US Dollars. Mailed payments should be Payable to : BRENDA WIARD, 146 West 6th Street, Salida, CO 81201. If you are mailing payment, please tell us so we know to expect a delay.
The 2Neat Books geology site is not yet set up as a shopping cart system. This means that you cannot yet pay directly at the same time you place your order - my apologies for this. Once you receive your "order summary" email with the total including shipping, you may then pay by one of the following methods : 1) logging into your Paypal account and sending payment, 2) FAXing, or telephoning your credit card information, 3) entering your credit card information via the secure server at our companion site 2Neat Magazines, OR 4) mailing payment.
If you select to pay via the secure server operated by Trust
Commerce, we will email a link to a private page there for you
to use. You will find a "Buy Now" button set up for
your individual purchase with the shipping type you have chosen.
When you use the secure server, we do not see your credit card
number - it goes straight to a merchant account processor. Thank
How quickly must I pay? We must receive your payment within ten days (14 days for orders from outside the USA). If you are paying by credit card or Paypal, you may pay immediately upon receipt of our order confirmation email. We like to provide good service with rapid shipping, so we appreciate the quick payments that help us ship quickly.
What if my credit card won't work on the 2Neat Magazines site? The secure site has an automatic Address Verification System that has trouble once or twice a year with an international address. If you are certain that all of the information you entered is correct, but the credit card keeps being declined, please email me directly - I can enter the information by hand via another route. This is not an option for US cards.

Do you ship outside of the United States? YES. We are happy to ship internationally and will give you choices of speed and cost for international shipping. All prices are in United States dollars ($US). To check the total in your currency, here is a link to a currency converter. - XE.com Currency Converter . Please do not ask us to falsify the customs forms, thank you.
Are you able to accommodate special shipping requests? YES. We always ship via the US Postal Service unless an alternative method is specifically requested. If you have a FedEx account, we can ship via FedEx. The USPS Express truck leaves town at 1pm Colorado time. The FedEx drop box is emptied at the same time. Thus all rush orders need to be completed prior to this hour.
will my purchase be packed? We package professionally:
all purchases are sealed in plastic and shipped in a stiff container,
so damage is not likely. Your name and address is also inside
the package. If a package is undeliverable, it will be returned
to us. Where we can, we re-use cardboard boxes and clean packing
materials donated to the 2Neat cause by our local community.
I have publications to sell, are you interested in purchasing them? YES, WE ARE BUYING NOW. Our primary interest is in out-of-print US State Geological Survey materials, and USGS materials. We purchase libraries in bulk, not by individual title. The materials must be in Good or better condition and must be intact (all plates present, etc.). Please be prepared to send a digital photo to show the entire collection (to prove that you have it) and a second photo of a publication in average condition.
I need an invoice, will one be sent? In most cases, the order confirmation email we send works well as an invoice. If you need more than this, please let us know. If you are a buyer outside the US and you need an invoice prior to submitting payment, please advise us of this. Where possible, we will email the invoice to you as an attachment.
A special message for AOL users. AOL is more likely than any other email server or internet provider to arbitrarily block incoming emails. If you are an AOL user and haven't heard from us in a timely fashion, PLEASE email again and we will contact you from a different email, a different web server, or by telephone - whatever it takes. Most typically we receive your emails, but ours to you vanish and we have no idea that this is happening until you let us know. Is my satisfaction guaranteed? We guarantee your satisfaction - if you have a problem, please email us and we will do our best to fix it. We carefully examine, grade, and store our publications, but we are human and a mistake is possible. We do ask that you pay attention to "condition" statements and ask any questions prior to ordering. Should you feel that we have incorrectly represented your publication and are unhappy with it because of that, you may return it to us in the same condition within ten days for a refund. Should this become necessary, please alert us ahead of time. We cannot guarantee delivery dates, sorry - that is in the hands of the US Postal Service.
