New York State Museum Memoir 14 : 1912 : The Eurypterida of New York. By John M Clarke and Rudolf Ruedemann. Two volumes in handsome green cloth : First volume is text, 439p., 121 figures and the Second volume is plates, pages 441-628, 88 plates. Plates are on heavy card stock, some are fold-outs. Beautifully illustrated. Plate 39, which is a six part fold-out, has cloth tape (on the back) connecting the sections – I believe this is original. SCARCE. (Beautiful set in very nice condition. Covers lightly rubbed, corners and spine ends lightly bumped. NO owner's marks. Text block is pristine. Plates block is a bit looser in places, but this is lightly related to stiffness of plates compared to regular paper. Else pristine.) This is a very heavy pair of books. $165
